Chance Partners Raises over Half of $5.4 Million Fund - cbl

ATLANTA - Chance Fall 2012 LLC, an investment vehicle of Chance Partners, has raised $3 million, or about 55 percent of a $5.40 million real estate fund, from 18 investors, according to an SEC filing.
The sole principal named in the filing by the Atlanta-based real estate firm was founder Judd Bobilin.
Chance Partners is a fully integrated real estate firm specializing in the development of in-fill housing communities.
Bobilin founded Chance Partners in 2009 to focus on developing student-housing communities in the southeast. He previously served as the executive vice president and chief development officer of Novare Group, a developer of mixed-use high-rise communities in cities.

Judd Bobilin
Founder
Judd started Chance partners in 2009 to focus on the development of student housing communities throughout the southeast. Judd has extensive experience in the real estate development arena most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of Novare Group. Novare was a leading developer of mixed-use hi-rise communities in urban locations having developed over $1.5 billion of real estate with 6,000 residences and 250,000 square feet of retail in aggregate.
Prior to joining Novare, Mr. Bobilin was an executive with Lincoln Property Company heading up their multi-family development efforts in the Southeast. Before Lincoln, he was an investment officer with TMW Real Estate Group (now part of Prudential Real Estate Investors) focusing on development properties (office and multi-family) in the southeast. Mr. Bobilin has served on numerous professional panels including for National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and various real estate publications conferences.
In 2006, Mr. Bobilin was selected to serve on Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin's Permitting Improvement Taskforce. He also worked with the City of Atlanta on the Sustainable Green Building initiative. Currently a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Multifamily Council of NAHB, Atlanta Home Builders Association, Atlanta Advisory Committee for Council for Quality Growth, NAIOP and an Advisory Board Member for the Georgia State University Real Estate Department. Mr. Bobilin received his MBA from Georgia State University and his B.S. from Syracuse University.
