Brown brings a substantial wealth of knowledge garnered through years of experience in advising clients through complex financial transactions to his new role at MountainSeed Appraisal Management. He previously worked at law firm Seyfarth Shaw, where he leveraged their sourcing, technology and project-management capabilities to design a variety of outsourcing arrangements, including compliance with bank-regulatory guidelines as well as appraisal and evaluation processes in real estate lending programs.
Brown has proven experience managing large-scale licensing and registration efforts in states across the country; facilitating equity investments; negotiating debt financings and workout; and deep levels of knowledge and application experience relative to the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act (FIRREA), the Dodd-Frank Act, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
