A very competitive slate of business owners across metro Atlanta were nominated. TiE’s awards program accounting partner, Warren Averett, interviewed each of the nominees and evaluated financial records to determine the honorees. The nominees were evaluated on four important criteria: entrepreneurship, growth, sustainability and profitability.

TiE Atlanta President, Karen Robinson, when kicking off the awards presentation before 300 attendees at TiECON Southeast stated, “This is truly a celebration of the best entrepreneurs in Metro Atlanta as well as an indicator of the strength of our entrepreneurial community. These entrepreneurs have attained a coveted place of recognition.”

Joining TiE and Warren Averett, who partnered together to host the entrepreneur awards program, was Kennesaw State University that served as the exclusive university sponsor.  Its recently launched Entrepreneurship Center helped honor these entrepreneurs to communicate its support to businesses in their quest to succeed.

The awards program is a re-birth of the past Business to Business (B2B) Top 25 Entrepreneurs awards program which was last run in 2012 when it ran consecutively for eight years. The rebirth of this awards program by TiE Atlanta and Warren Averett complements each of their long-standing commitments and experience in working with and for entrepreneurs, business owners and privately-held companies.
