Social & Scientific Systems, Inc. (SSS), announced that Kevin Beverly has been named president and CEO of the company, succeeding James J. Lynch, PhD, who announced his retirement in January 2015. Dr. Lynch, who has been with SSS for 27 years and who served as president and CEO for the last 9 years, will continue to serve on SSS’ Board of Directors. Mr. Beverly assumed this new position last November.
Mr. Beverly came to SSS in 2003 as vice president for business development. In 2006, he became executive vice president, overseeing business development and strategy as well as other areas of administrative support. Before joining SSS, he worked in various technical and policy organizations. His strength and experience in leadership, operations, project management, and sales and marketing has helped the company's recent growth. Mr. Beverly is very active in Washington-area philanthropy efforts and has received numerous awards for his work supporting a variety of nonprofit organizations.
