Bennett Thrasher is pleased to announce that Jeffrey A. Eischeid has been elected managing partner effective July 1, 2016. Eischeid will assume the role in furtherance of the succession plan developed by the Firm’s founders, Kenneth L. Thrasher and Richard A. Bennett. As managing partner, Jeff will lead Bennett Thrasher’s partners and associates in implementing the Firm’s strategic plan. In addition, he will continue to directly serve a number of the Firm clients.

“Jeff has worked with Bennett Thrasher’s partners, associates and clients for more than 10 years and has advised clients in a wide-range of industries for more than 35 years,” said Rick Bennett, co-founding partner of Bennett Thrasher. “His proven track record and dedication to our clients and Firm makes him the perfect candidate for his new role. In the community, Eischeid has been active with the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta as well as a variety of charitable organizations including having Co-Founded the Sope Creek Elementary School Foundation.

Eischeid earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia. He became a Georgia Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1983 and has earned the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Personal Financial Specialist designation. A frequent writer and lecturer, Eischeid is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA), the AICPA and the Atlanta Estate Planning Council.
