Augusta’s Innovation Ecosystem Profiled as a “Hubtopia”

The Garden City’s Growing Tech scene featured in current issue of Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) publication.

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation, recently profiled the emerging tech scene in the Greater Augusta, Georgia region in the current issue of Hub Magazine.

The article “Garden City Growth” was written by Augusta Mayor Hardie Davis Jr., and appears in the magazine’s Hubtopia feature which offers a glimpse of the creative culture, places and spaces that are driving innovation in the Southeast. Communities that are profiled each issue are able to showcase the unique attributes, businesses, endeavors and successes that make them a “Hubtopia” for technology and innovation.

Mayor Davis’ article highlighted the region’s emergence as a hot spot for Cyber Security. ADP, and Unisys have a presence in the region as well as tech focused organizations like Augusta University, The Innovation Academy and The US Army Cyber Command at nearby Fort Gordon.
