The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state’s leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia’s technology industry, today announced the creation of a talent advisory group whose members act as one voice for TAG’s members involved in hiring tech talent. This group was created in response to results from focus groups and surveys. The group will work on building a tech talent pipeline and help provide a connection point for work ready individuals who are transitioning from college to work.

“It is our hope that initiatives created from group collaboration will be a starting point in helping TAG members align recruiting strategy with overall business objectives”, said LaTonya Rich, Director of Strategies and Solutions at TAG.

“I am supporting the Talent Advisory committee to keep a pulse on the technology community in Atlanta. I value the opportunity to come together with other technology and serviced based organizations discussing the challenges we face in the current marketplace”, said Matthew Marini, Recruiting Manager at Agile.
