Atlanta’s FinTech Community to Dominate Money 20/20 With 25 Executive Speakers

Attendees at this year’s Money 20/20, the world’s largest payments and financial services innovation event, will notice an abundance of Atlanta-based speakers as 25 financial technology executives from Georgia are scheduled to speak at the international event.  

Nearly 200 Georgia-based financial technology and financial services professionals are attending Money 20/20. Throughout the four-day event, Georgia and metro Atlanta executives will discuss topics ranging from machine learning and paperless checking to lending-as-a-service and customer loyalty. In total, 25 executives are speaking across a variety of educational sessions at the show in Las Vegas.

“FinTech solutions power the global economy,” said Barry McCarthy, executive vice president of network and security solutions for First Data and chair of FinTech Atlanta, a coalition working to cement metro Atlanta as the global financial technology capital. “Atlanta has quietly become the global capital of this critically important sector.
