FinTech Atlanta Connects Early Stage Job Seekers With Financial Technology Companies Looking to Hire

CEOs of Kabbage and Merchant e-Solutions share entrepreneurial stories

FinTech Atlanta will host Future Stars 2016, a FinTech career fair for recent graduates and early stage job seekers, on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the Georgia Tech Research Institute Conference Center.

Future Stars 2016 matches job seekers – with one to seven years of experience – interested in technology, finance, mobility and cyber security with job opportunities available at some of Atlanta’s hottest financial technology companies. Organized by FinTech Atlanta, a coalition working to cement metro Atlanta as the global financial technology capital, the event is free and open to anyone that registers for the event at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fintech-career-fair-tickets-28491575068

During the event, Georgia-based FinTech companies looking to hire top talent will share two-minute fast pitches about their respective organizations and careers opportunities. Participating organizations include Equifax, First Data, Global Payments, Ingenico Group, Kabbage, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Merchant e-Solutions, NCR, SunTrust and Worldpay.

“Future Stars 2016 is an example of what our financial technology ecosystem is doing to ensure Georgia retains and grows top talent,” said Barry McCarthy, executive vice president of network and security solutions for First Data and chair of FinTech Atlanta. “Our state is a higher education powerhouse that is fueling our explosive FinTech community, and we want to do everything we can to ensure those starting their technology careers in Georgia stay and grow those careers here.”

Continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m. at the Georgia Tech Research Institute Conference Center at 250 14th St. NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30318. The morning will kick off with two keynote speakers who will share their experiences in leading and growing FinTech companies.

Rob Frohwein, CEO of Kabbage, will share his start-up success story as he grew the Atlanta-based company into a leading financial services data and technology platform. Tom Bell, CEO of Merchant e-Solutions, will explain why he relocated his e-commerce payment processing company from Silicon Valley to Atlanta.
