Collection of 20 uniquely painted Christmas trees to be unveiled on Dec. 2
WHAT: Join Colony Square for an artful celebration of the holiday season as local Atlanta artists help transform The Square into a whimsical winter wonderland with 20 six-foot-tall uniquely painted Christmas trees. On Dec. 2,artists will unveil the collection of trees along Peachtree Road that will be on display throughout the season for all of Midtown to enjoy.
The program, called Festivity + Trees, encourages artists to create original works inspired by Colony Square’s theme: “The Art of Modern Life.” Fun for the entire family is to be expected during the revealing with live musical entertainment from local Atlanta band Blair Crimmins and the Hookers! As part of the celebration, special holiday stilt walkers from the Imperial Opas Circus will also be on site to help spread holiday cheer across The Square.
Starbucks will provide hot cider, coffee and holiday treats while Establishment will offer lite bites, beer, wine and holiday cocktails. Guests can keep warm next to fire pits that will be scattered across The Square and even make their own s’mores with ingredients provided by Colony Square. Kid craft stations will also be incorporated across the property for more exciting holiday entertainment!
