Randolph Williamson has completed a state-of-the-art, 53,970-square-foot medical facility located adjacent to Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin, Georgia. The project was developed by Group VI Development and construction began in 2014.
The shell building, as well as all tenant spaces, were completed by Randolph Williamson in partnership with WM2A Architects and Medical Management Associates Inc. The new building includes the 72 exam rooms, new labs, and an enclosed pedestrian bridge that connects to Spalding Regional Hospital to provide additional medical services.
“This building houses leading physician groups, including Internal Medicine of Griffin, and has greatly enhanced the hospital’s ability to bring quality healthcare to the region,” said Mark Williamson, president of construction and CFO of Randolph Williamson. “Working with the physicians and their staff to create this advanced medical building has been a great experience.”
Spalding Regional Medical Center is a general medical and surgical hospital in with 160 beds, serving the residents of Spalding, Pike, Lamar, Butts, Upson and Henry counties.
