Longtime Atlanta public relations agency Hope-Beckham Inc. (HBI) announced the recent promotion of Jaime Griffon to vice president, communications. In her new role, Griffon will be responsible for maximizing the public relations and communications effectiveness of the organization, as well as providing strategic communications counsel. She will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team to drive strategic priorities forward. Griffon previously held the positions of director of events & visibility and business development director at HBI.

During her years in the industry, Griffon has gathered extensive experience in public relations, corporate communications, corporate giving strategy and events. Some of her notable accounts have included Belk, Chick-fil-A Foundation, Georgia’s Own Credit Union, Stein Mart and Total Wine & More. She has been profiled by Points North Magazine, Buckhaven Magazine, and AskMissA. Prior to joining HBI in 2012, Griffon served as development director for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where she worked in the nonprofit sector and dealt with sponsorships, fundraising and event strategy.

Griffon received her B.A. in communications from the University of Alabama. She is a member of PRSA, has served as a decade-long member of the Junior League of Atlanta and is committee chair of the Georgia CASA Luncheon.
