The Atlanta Apartment Association (AAA) has named Christie Eash, senior vice president for AMLI Residential, its 2017 chair of the board of directors. Eash previously served in several AAA leadership roles prior to her appointment to chair.

“We’re thrilled to announce that we have selected Christie for this prestigious role,” said Jim Fowler, president of AAA. “Her commitment to the organization and footprint on the industry are unparalleled in Atlanta, and we can’t wait to see how AAA will grow under her leadership in 2017.”

Eash has been with AMLI for over 20 years, and has been entrusted with increasingly important roles, such as managing operations for the east coast, overseeing national operations of AMLI’s retail and corporate homes divisions and evaluating the management division’s core software. Eash has also been a team leader in the underwriting, design, execution and stabilization of multiple East Coast developments, which total several billion dollars in investment. Eash is currently part of a team that is evaluating software for onsite users for AMLI including its nine properties in Atlanta. In addition, she oversees several projects that impact AMLI operations nationally.

As chair, Eash will play a vital role in guiding AAA’s staff and volunteers as they work to strategically grow the organization and host the annual National Apartment Association education conference in Atlanta this summer.
