Porter Keadle Moore accounting and advisory firm (PKM) has promoted Christopher Belknap from Principal to Partner in the firm’s Tax department.
Belknap specializes in multi-state partnership and s-corporation taxation providing consulting and tax planning strategies across a broad range of industries. Through prior work as a CFO and outsourced controller, Belknap understands the importance of meaningful financial reporting and an efficient tax structure. His experience helps him communicate with small businesses in “plain English,” instead of complicated tax terms.
Using a cloud-based platform, he has built integrated accounting, tax and workflow solutions for clients in industries including medical, construction, technology, professional service and craft brewing. He helps entrepreneurs and small business owners by listening, identifying and delivering cost-effective solutions to their everyday problems. Additionally, Belknap evaluates and mentors staff to encourage and guide career development. He is a member of the AICPA and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
As a Partner in the firm, Chris will continue to play an active role in business and staff development, demonstrate excellent technical competence as well as live the vision and the mission of the firm.
