Colony Square Announces Inaugural Fat Tuesday Celebration

2/13/17

The Midtown mixed-use development brings Mardi Gras to Atlanta

Colony Square invites office tenants and guests to celebrate Fat Tuesday with the launch of its inaugural Mardi Gras celebration – complete with beads, live entertainment and signature refreshments and culinary delights. The lunchtime event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 11:30 a.m. on The Square and is free to the public.

In celebration of Fat Tuesday, Colony Square will transform into Bourbon Street and welcome guests with live music from the horn section of Atlanta Funk Society. Establishment will also help guests get into the New Orleans spirit by serving traditional Hurricanes during lunch on The Square. Additionally, the Louisiana Purchase food truck will be on site serving up classic dishes like gumbo, po-boys, crawfish, and pretty much anything imaginable in the Cajun realm.

“We are excited to bring such a significant special Southern tradition to the Midtown community and can’t wait to deck The Square out in purple, green and gold Fat Tuesday flair,” said Carla Toro, director of marketing at Colony Square. “This will be our first Mardi Gras event at Colony Square and we look forward to bringing friends and coworkers out to enjoy an afternoon filled with New Orleans-themed drinks, entertainment and food.”
