Buckhead Plaza, a property owned by Cousins Properties, is welcoming Chai-Yo to its ground-floor quality retail scene. The restaurant will introduce a new concept to Buckhead, and is expected to open this summer.

Chai-Yo will occupy 3350 sq. ft. It will bring a Chef driven Thai concept featuring Chef/Owner DeeDee Niyomkul’s interpretation of traditional and old World Thai recipes using new world techniques and inspiration. Chai Yo will feature a modern setting, equipped with outdoor seating and a full craft bar. Chef Deedee Niyomkul, owner of Atlanta’s famous restaurant Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft in south Buckhead will collaborate with her Mother Chef Nan Niyomkul (Nan Thai Fine Dining and Tamarind Seed) on the menu. Chai-Yo is sure to mesh with the carefully cultivated restaurant selection, meant to have synergy together. The Niyomkul family’s restaurants have been featured among the top Thai restaurants in the U.S., by Travel + leisure magazine, Atlanta’s top 50 restaurants, by the Atlanta Journal Constitution; best small plates, by Jezebel magazine and have been awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award 10 times.
