Krevolin & Horst, LLC, a full-service boutique law firm located in Midtown Atlanta, successfully negotiated an asset sale on behalf of its client, The Rainmaker Group Ventures, for $300 million in cash. Rainmaker, headquartered in Alpharetta, GA, is a premier provider of profit optimization and revenue intelligence solutions to the multifamily, hospitality and gaming industries. On Monday, February 27, 2017, Rainmaker agreed to sell its Rainmaker LRO multifamily housing business and product portfolio to RealPage, Inc., a publicly traded provider of software and data analytics to the real estate industry based in Richardson, Texas. The acquisition is scheduled to close during the second quarter of 2017.
Rainmaker has been a client of Krevolin & Horst since the software company’s inception in 1998, and has provided legal support to Rainmaker with respect to corporate, litigation and employment matters for the life of the company.
