Greg Charleston has been appointed to the board of directors of the Commercial Finance Association (CFA), Atlanta chapter. Charleston is a senior managing director of Conway MacKenzie Inc., a financial advisory firm.

“I’m looking forward to working closely with the other leaders of the Atlanta chapter to help steer CFA’s future with quality programming and meaningful advocacy,” stated Charleston, who draws from more than 23 years of experience in turnaround consulting, financial crisis management, mergers and acquisitions, and business valuation.

Charleston is a Certified Turnaround Professional, Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst. He has extensive experience working with various industries, including transportation, aviation, publishing, government, distribution, construction, automotive and health care. Charleston has served as chief restructuring officer, interim CEO and interim CFO on several engagements.

Additionally, Charleston is an active member of the turnaround community. He is the former president of the Atlanta chapter of the Turnaround Management Association; is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the CFA Institute; is often called upon by the media as an expert source; and has published articles in leading industry publications.
