Grab your green and head to Avalon on March 17 for a St. Paddy’s bash
Take a trip to Ireland this St. Patrick’s Day at Avalon’s third annual Luck of Avalon event. All lads and lassies are invited to the Alpharetta mixed-use community on Friday, March 17 from 6 to 10 p.m. for an evening full of live music, dancing and of course, green beer.
“Luck of Avalon has established a new St. Paddy’s tradition for Alpharetta,” said Carla Toro, director of marketing at Avalon. “Over the past two years, Luck of Avalon has become the St. Patrick’s Day celebration for our residents and community members. We can’t wait for everyone to don their green and party in The Plaza while sipping green beer and enjoying festive Irish tunes!”
The North Georgia Pipes and Drums will kick off the party on The Plaza Stage at 6 p.m. before performing throughout the property for the rest of the evening. Crowd favorite Az-Izz will take the lead and play favorite tunes from Motown to Top 40 hits until 10 p.m., while Avalon’s famed chef-driven restaurants serve special Irish dishes, giving guests the complete St. Patrick’s Day experience.
Plenty of green beer from Reformation Brewery and Irish whiskey will be offered at multiple outdoor bars plus a candy bar will be set up by Concierge for kids of all ages. Face painting will also be available for the little leprechauns, ensuring a good time for the whole family. Be sure to stop by Kona Grill, adjacent to The Plaza, and test your luck with chopsticks. If you get the green chopsticks, you instantly win a $25 Kona Grill gift card.
Guests are encouraged to share their pictures on social media at the event using #LuckofAvalon to receive a print out at the Flashtag photo booth.
While celebrating St. Paddy’s, guests can enter a raffle for a chance to win two tickets to Savor & Celebrate, Avalon’s upcoming black tie soiree to unveil Boulevard East on April 12.
