Tesa Gonzales has been named a senior supervising engineer in the Atlanta office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.

In her new position, Ms. Gonzales will manage key projects for the firm’s fleet and facilities group. She will serve as the primary client interface with agency staff and management, and provide guidance and management of technical and project services in the Southeast. Her project management and technical scope will include fleet vehicles, intercity, commuter, light rail and streetcar rolling stock.

Ms. Gonzales has over 35 years of experience in the development, delivery and control of large infrastructure and railcar capital improvement and maintenance projects. Prior to joining WSP | Parson Brinckerhoff, she provided project management services to the Federal Transit Administration as a project management oversight contractor following a career with the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, where she acquired extensive experience in project management, program management, contract management, project controls and engineering.

Ms. Gonzales earned a master’s degree in construction management and a bachelor’s degree in textile engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. Among her professional affiliations, she is a member ofthe Project Management Institute and WTS International.
