Stratix Leader Wins Supply Chain Rock Star Award from Food Logistics

4/6/17

Marco Nielsen of managed mobile services provider Stratix Corporation has earned a spot in Food Logistics’ 2017 Champions: Rock Stars of the Supply Chain. Now in its third year, the awards program honors professionals using their ingenuity to drive supply chain efficiency, productivity, safety and innovation for the food and beverage industry.

Nielsen, who is vice president, managed mobility services at Stratix, combines 20 years of experience with a deep understanding of the increasingly complex environment of mobile devices, operating systems, applications and wireless networks.

“The diversity of this year’s award winners reflects the growing complexity of the global food supply chain and the many people whose individual and collective successes are driving the industry to new heights,” says Lara L. Sowinski, editorial director at Food Logistics.

The award comes after Stratix’s recent recognition as a Food Logistics FL 100+ Top Software and Tech Provider. With the industry’s most comprehensive managed services portfolio, Stratix works with many global enterprises to meet their most pressing supply chain challenges and improve fulfillment accuracy, speed and cost efficiency. Its end-to-end managed solutions enable businesses to plan, deploy, manage and support their mobile investments, allowing them to move products seamlessly through the global supply chain.

“Today’s consumers expect fast, accurate deliveries, and businesses that can’t meet those expectations run the risk of falling behind,” Nielsen says. “We partner with customers across many industries, including the food and beverage sector, to address these challenges by operationalizing and supporting their business-critical mobile solutions.”
