4/17/17

Legacy Ventures, owners and managers of the Embassy Suites by Hilton Centennial Olympic Park, congratulates hotel General Manager Frank Phair on being recognized with the Embassy Suites General Manager Award of Merit, as well as the Georgia Hotel and Lodging Association’s Outstanding General Manager of the Year Award for 2016.

Phair was selected for demonstrating outstanding leadership, his extensive community involvement and generating impressive business results during a major $9 million-dollar renovation of the hotel. The renovations included the remodeling of all 321 two-room suites with a sleek new contemporary look, soft goods renovations to ballroom, meeting and lobby spaces, including the addition of a new atrium bar for the brand’s daily evening reception, and much more.

In addition, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Centennial Olympic Park was recognized by the GHLA for the Good Earthkeeping Award through the hotel team’s efforts in protecting the environment by conserving resources and reducing waste. This included donations of furniture and light fixtures with an estimated donation value of $315,000 to several nonprofit organizations in the state of Georgia.

“Frank’s commitment to the success of his hotel truly represents excellence in leadership,” said Kevin Richards, COO of Legacy Ventures. “He has made significant strides in both operations and customer service, and now ranks as one of the top general managers in the Embassy Suites system nationwide.”

In addition to these state and national awards, the hotel was recognized as Legacy Ventures 2016 Keystone Hotel of the Year, which is Legacy Ventures’ hotel of the year recognition. Legacy Ventures also recognized Assistant General Manager Ivy Mpofu as Manager of the Year for demonstrating outstanding service, hospitality and teamwork in her role at Embassy Suites by Hilton Centennial Olympic Park.
