SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (STRH) has hired Youssef Squali as managing director and senior analyst responsible for coverage of the Internet and Digital Media sector. Squali has extensive expertise in this sector with more than 25 years of experience covering the Internet space as a senior publishing analyst on both the sell-side and buy-side.

For the past five years, Squali served as managing director and global head of Internet Research at Cantor Fitzgerald, and was previously with Jefferies for eight years as a managing director. In addition, he has held roles at First Albany and ING Barings Furman Selz. Squali earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the American Business School in Paris, and a MBA from the University of Hartford. Squali will be based in New York, NY and will work closely with current Media, Entertainment, and Interactive Gaming senior analyst Matthew Thornton.
