Bennett Thrasher Relocates Office And Refreshes Its Brand

5/20/17

Bennett Thrasher LLP, one of the top 100 full-service public accounting and consulting firms in the country, is pleased to announce the relocation of its office to Riverwood 200 in conjunction with a refresh of the firm’s brand. The firm will be the first tenant to move into the new development, occupying 64,300 square feet of office space, an increase of more than 40 percent from its former location. As a further reflection of its deliberate and continuing growth, Bennett Thrasher has also refreshed its brand including an updated logo which reinforces the closeness and shared purpose between the firm and its clients, while maintaining its meaningful tag line, “Better Together.”

“We are excited that our new office space and refreshed brand reflect the core values that we built this firm on,” said Managing Partner Jeffrey Eischeid. “With this expansion comes the opportunity for us to continue our commitment to exceptional client service, broaden our service offerings and add to our team of outstanding professionals.”

The design concept for Bennett Thrasher’s new office intentionally brings the firm’s culture and brand to life in the space. The firm accomplished this goal through eliminating corner and window offices traditionally utilized in professional services firms; promoting collaboration with 38 conference and socialization spaces of various sizes and configurations; incorporating wellness as a key component by making standing or treadmill desks available to all employees, adding a Zen room and installing white noise componentry; building a Founder’s Room around the original table at which Rick Bennett and Ken Thrasher toasted their new partnership when forming the firm in 1980; including local artwork that provides a “sense of place”; looking towards the future with modern technology features and, arranging professionals’ seating according to the industry sector which they primarily serve rather than service lines in which they work, as well as leaving unassigned work spaces throughout to encourage impromptu collaboration.

While Bennett Thrasher’s brand might sport a refreshed look, the company’s core values of commitment to integrity, commitment to family and commitment to its clients remain unchanged.

“We truly appreciate and value the support we have received from all of our clients and the accounting community since when we first opened 37 years ago,” Eischeid said. “Through the dedication of our professionals, Bennett Thrasher has grown from a local, well-respected accounting and consulting firm to one that is now nationally recognized. We are currently the 88th largest CPA firm in the United States.”

Bennett Thrasher was assisted in its move and redesign by landlord and developer Highwoods Properties; architect and interior designer HLG Studio; project manager Cushman & Wakefield; real estate broker Highgate Partners; general contractor Holder Construction; lender Synovus; attorney Arnall Golden Gregory and, marketing agency Marbury Creative Group.

The effort was led by the firm’s Move Committee members: Partner Victoria M. Barry; Partner Rick Suid; Manager Tim Brunelle; Chief Operating Officer Will Eckerson; IT Director Chris Gilligan; Director of Human Resources Stephanie McCullough, and Bennett Thrasher Co-Founders Rick Bennett and Ken Thrasher. The brand refresh was led by Director of Marketing and Practice Growth Erinn Keserica and Marketing Specialist Allie Blessing. Feedback solicited from Bennett Thrasher associates was critical in many of the design aspects of the new building.

In addition, BT Wealth Management (BTWM), a leading, independent financial advisory firm affiliated with Bennett Thrasher, will move into its own, separate office space at Riverwood 200 that will accommodate BTWM’s unique growth. BTWM will also adopt a refreshed logo, which will add the color green.
