Cushman & Wakefield has hired Clay Westbrook as Director of Market Research, leading the firm’s research department in Atlanta.

Westbrook will manage and collaborate on research activities and resources in the Atlanta region. The research team prepares quarterly market statistics in addition to other thought leadership materials and presentations, participates in client pitches and presentations, and advises leadership in overall business development strategy. Westbrook will coordinate research activity across all service lines and property types as well as manage proprietary databases, big-data analytics and data governance with the expertise of Cushman & Wakefield’s strong and diverse research team.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Westbrook was a turnaround and restructuring professional, a published author and a career advisor for attorneys. In addition to his research experience, his consulting practice involved formulating original strategies for highly sensitive situations, advising business owners and leaders through crisis resolutions. He also was previously a commercial real estate attorney and capital markets advisor, working with clients in commercial real estate transactions, commercial lending, equity investments, alternative financingand corporate mergers and acquisitions.
