Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce that Randi M. Warren has graduated from the State Bar of Georgia's 2017 Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Leadership Academy, and was elected to a one year term on the YLD Representative Council. Randi is an attorney in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice at Taylor English.
The YLD Leadership Academy is a program for young lawyers to further develop their leadership skills while engaging with others in their profession, communities and state. Randi is one of 39 graduates of the six-month program, which included sessions on leadership, professionalism and community service.
At Taylor English, Randi focuses her practice on litigating personal injury claims, as well as premises liability and insurance coverage matters. She provides defense services for insurance companies in both the general liability and professional liability context by defending insureds, providing coverage opinions and prosecuting declaratory judgment actions.
Outside of the firm, Randi is actively involved in a number of professional associations including the Junior League of Atlanta, the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, Gate City Bar Association and the Center for Black Women’s Wellness. She is also a mentor for the Sister 2 Sister Mentoring Program at Spelman College.
Randi earned her undergraduate from Spelman College and her law degree from Mercer University.
The YLD Leadership Academy of the State Bar of Georgia is a nationally recognized program. The program is for young lawyers who are interested in developing their leadership skills as well as learning more about their profession, their communities and their state. In 2008, the Leadership Academy was awarded first place in the nation in the Minority Project Category during the American Bar Association YLD Awards of Achievement Program.
