On July 24, jB+a, a Division of Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon, Inc., moved its Atlanta office in Vinings to Overlook II.

In November 2016, Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon, Inc., announced the acquisition of the Atlanta-based planning and landscape architecture firm jB+a. The group continues its work with a variety of institutions, local governments and developers, but now operates with the expanded capabilities of a full-service planning, engineering and architecture firm. 

Landmark projects include Suwanee Town Center (Suwanee, Georgia); Sandy Springs City Center (Sandy Springs, Georgia); the Engineered Biosystems Building at Georgia Institute of Technology in (Atlanta); and Atlanta United FV Training Grounds (Marietta, Georgia).
