Most Verizon Retail Stores in Metro Atlanta Open after Hurricane Irma

Most Verizon company-owned stores in Metro Atlanta opened for business today at noon after being closed yesterday as a result of Hurricane Irma.Residents can visit their local Verizon store to make free calls, access the internet and charge their devices, regardless of their wireless provider.

Stores that opened at noon, include: Buckhead, Buford, Camp Creek (Atlanta), Canton, Carrollton, Cartersville, Cumming, Decatur, Dalton, Dawsonville, Douglasville, East Ellijay, Edgewood (Atlanta), Fayetteville, Gainesville, Griffin, Gwinnett, Hiram, Howell Mill (Atlanta), Johns Creek, Kennesaw, Lawrenceville, Marietta, McDonough, Newnan, North Point (Alpharetta), Peachtree City, Perimeter Place, Ponce De Leon (Atlanta), Snellville, Smyrna, Southlake and Woodstock.

“As part of this community, we’re here to help,” said Russ Preite, president, South East Market for Verizon Wireless. “All residents, regardless of whether you’re a Verizon customer, are encouraged to visit one of our local stores, even if you simply need to charge your phone or make a call.”
