Kayla Chiang focuses her practice on Workers' Compensation defense. She has worked as a summer associate for Drew Eckl & Farnham, LLP in 2016 and joined the firm as a full-time associate in 2017. One of her most notable projects at Mercer University Law School was her work with the Habeas Project clinic under the Student Practice Act where she gained experience writing a petition for certiorari to the Supreme Court of the United States and had a case heard before the Georgia Supreme Court. Other worthy mentions include her clerkship for the Senior Citizens Law Project at Atlanta Legal Aid, and competition in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
