Long-time member of the Atlanta advertising community is making a difference
Stephen Mitchell has spent more than 20 years in production roles at agencies across Atlanta. Now, the long-time member of the city’s advertising community is ready to make a difference by helping connect top job seekers and companies looking for talent.?
Hire Profile named Mitchell as the company’s newest recruiter, a role that allows him to leverage his broad network and knowledge of Atlanta’s advertising and marketing industry to help identify and place the best candidates.?
“I want to make a difference for the people who are searching for new opportunities and help companies find the right people to fit into their organizations,” Mitchell said. “Helping people and trying to become an asset to the community has become an important facet of my life. Now, I can have a career doing just that.”?
“Clients today are looking for more out of the companies they work with to recruit talent,” Mitchell said. “They are looking for a partner who understands their needs and can help them dig through the clutter. Resume writing has become an art, and many people stock resumes with keywords. But, we look beyond key phrases and buzzwords on a resume to find the hidden talent that can help elevate an organization.”?
Before joining Hire Profile, Mitchell’s career included roles as Executive Integrated Producer at BBDO, Director of Production at Fitzgerald & Co., Director of Print Production at Sawyer Riley Compton and Production Manager at Tausche Martin Lonsdorf.?
“We’ve always been in the creative and marketing recruiting business, but to have an agency insider who has experience working alongside the types of the people our clients are looking for makes us that much more of an unprecedented resource,” said Nancy Gamble, President & CEO of Hire Profile.?
“Stephen is great at working with candidates to not only understand what they do, but what they’re looking for,” Gamble added. “As far as our uniqueness in the industry, it’s those deeper dives and caring about people’s career goals vs. throwing a bunch of jobs at them and seeing if something sticks that makes us stand out.”?
Mitchell, a graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans with a degree in Communications, Visual Arts/Graphics, lives in Peachtree City with his wife and two daughters, a golden retriever and a rescue lab/terrier mix. He is active in Atlanta advertising organizations and leads a small group of 10th graders at Southside Church in Peachtree City.?
