The firm hosted a panel discussion and private dinner for BNY Mellon Wealth Management and Forbes guests on the topic of building and sustaining a legacy. Atlanta-based Timothy Sheehan, Senior Director of BNY Mellon Wealth Management, and his wife, Anne Sheehan, attended the Forbes Centennial Celebration. Held at Mario Batali’s La Sirena restaurant in Chelsea, panelists Mike LaRhette, president of MassChallenge, and Pranav Yadav, chief executive officer of Neuro-Insight, shared their perspectives on building a business legacy, driving a culture of innovation and ensuring a legacy is passed onto future generations and iterations of a business. The panel was moderated by Moira Forbes, executive vice president of Forbes Media. BNY Mellon Wealth Management Chief Executive Officer Don Heberle gave opening remarks.

The following night, BNY Mellon Wealth Management executives attended the Forbes@100 celebratory event and awards reception at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers, where Forbes honored the individuals named to its “100 Greatest Living Business Minds” list. BNY Mellon Wealth Management hosted guests in a champagne lounge. Mr. Heberle made remarks, along with Mike Perlis, chief executive officer of Forbes Media, Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, Randall Lane, editor of Forbes Magazine, and Warren Buffett, chairman and chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway. The evening ended with a special musical performance by Stevie Wonder
