Colony Square to host free, artful holiday display with over 40 hand-painted Christmas trees
WHAT: More than forty hand-painted “Festivity Trees” will soon line Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta at Colony Square. Of the 41, 16 are original works from last year and 25 are new works, each painted by a unique Atlanta artist. The tall wooden Christmas trees will be on public display throughout the month of December.
On Friday, Dec. 1, Colony Square will unveil the artful trees at its second annual Festivity + Trees reveal party. Starting at 4 p.m., the public is invited to peruse the collection of painted trees while enjoying festive libations from the Sunshine Alchemy alcohol truck, s’mores and hot chocolate from Malvi, and live entertainment by the Tinseltone Carolers.
Additionally, Colony Square will have a white Christmas tree on display in The Atrium that guests are invited to help decorate during the holiday season. Festivity Trees will be on display along Peachtree Street from Dec. 1 through Dec. 27.
Guests are encouraged to share their holiday experiences with #FestivityTrees on social media. The Wilbert Group is available to arrange media badges and parking accommodations for media to attend the reveal party.
