Grand opening in Braselton to celebrate milestone 150th store with $25k donation from the Joy in Childhood Foundation to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation Inc. and free coffee for a year giveaway to first 150 guests

Dunkin’ Donuts today announced that it will host a two-day grand opening celebration for its 150th location throughout the Greater Atlanta area in Braselton at 2630 Old Winder Highway from Friday, December 8 through Saturday, December 9.

To kick off the event, the store will host a ribbon cutting at 12PM with Braselton Mayor Bill Orr and the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce, followed by a $25,000 check donation to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation Inc. from the Joy in Childhood Foundation, whose mission is to provide the simple joys of childhood to sick and hungry kids.

On Saturday, the location will continue the celebration by offering free coffee for a year and a Dunkin’ Donuts T-shirt to the first 150 guests beginning at 9AM, along with a free medium hot or iced coffee offer to all guests from 9AM to 1PM.* The free coffee for a year coupon book is redeemable for one coffee a week for 52 weeks.  The event will also feature raffle giveaways, a face painter, the Dunkin’ Prize wheel, photo opportunities with Dunkin’ Donuts mascots Cuppy and Sprinkles and more.

This holiday season, Dunkin’ Donuts is also brewing up joy in the local Braselton community, as Saturday’s grand opening will include a $1,000 check donation to the Home of Hope at Gwinnett Children’s Shelter. This donation is aligned with the Joy in Childhood Foundation’s mission.

Shamsu Charania of Coffee Café, LLC, is the Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee for the new restaurant in Braselton and currently operates 17 restaurants throughout Atlanta.

The 2,200-square foot restaurant will be open from 5AM to 10PM, seven days a week and will employ approximately 30 crew members. It will feature comfortable indoor and outdoor seating and free Wi-Fi to provide a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts’ high-quality coffee beverages in a friendly atmosphere. 

With Dunkin’ Donuts’ On-the-Go Ordering, members of the DD Perks® Rewards Program can order in advance using their mobile phone, speed past the line and go straight to pick up when they get inside the store. Guests can also pick up their mobile order at the drive-thru. Guests can place a mobile order up to 24 hours in advance, then simply confirm via the Dunkin’ Mobile app when they are at the restaurant and ready to pick up their order.

The new Dunkin’ Donuts in Braselton will keep customers energized with the brand’s beverage offerings including high-quality, freshly-brewed Hot and Iced Coffees, Cold Brew and 30% Rainforest Alliance Certified™ Dark Roast, along with a Rainforest Alliance Certified™ espresso lineup that includes Americano, Cappuccino, Espresso, and Hot and Iced Lattes and Macchiato.
