Modera by Mill Creek – Midtown welcomes popular New York food cart concept to retail landscape
Mill Creek Residential, a leading multifamily investor and operator specializing in premier apartment communities across the U.S., is pleased to announce the addition of The Halal Guys, the popular New York food cart turned brick-and-mortar restaurant, to Modera by Mill Creek – Midtown.
The 29-story community, the first high-rise building of Mill Creek’s Atlanta residences, houses 435 state-of-the-art apartment homes, including studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes in one of the city’s most lively and diverse neighborhoods. An energized, first-floor streetscape will be dedicated to 12,000 square feet of high-end retail and restaurant space that will make the locale more accessible and enjoyable for residents and guests.

The Halal Guys, the company’s second location in Atlanta, will consist of 1,486 square feet of street-level restaurant space and is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2018. The restaurant will offer a mix of various American Halal menu items, including gyro sandwiches, beef and chicken platters with rice, and the chain’s famed white and red sauces. The fast-casual restaurant will join Momonoki, a modern Japanese concept from the team behind Decatur’s Brush Izakaya, as Modera Midtown’s restaurant offerings.
