State Bank Financial Adds Six New Hires to Savannah Branches

State Bank Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: STBZ), the holding company for State Bank and Trust Company, today announced the additions of J. Keith Parker, Amber Skaggs, Marcus McBride, Janeka Dukes, Brittany Ferguson and Diane Humphris in the Savannah market.

Parker and Skaggs serve as vice president and branch manager for the Bank’s Mall Boulevard and Drayton Street locations, respectively. McBride joins the Drayton Street branch as vice president of commercial banking.

In their roles as vice president and branch manager, Parker and Skaggs will be responsible for overseeing and directing the overall performance of their branches, including attracting, expanding and retaining client relationships, as well as consumer and small business lending.

Parker has over 20 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. Prior to joining State Bank, he was a branch vice president for a national bank in the Savannah region, where he managed over $115 million in deposits and about $20 million in loans. Parker received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.

Skaggs previously managed a regional bank branch with over $95 million in deposits. She has a significant record of success for well-defined marketing and product management and has over 14 years of operations and business expansion experience. Skaggs received her bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University.

McBride brings over 10 years of banking experience in Southeast Georgia to his role as vice president of commercial banking at State Bank. In his previous role, McBride served as a commercial and construction banker at a community bank in Savannah, where he increased loans 40 percent and grew deposits 20 percent in one year. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. McBride has also received professional certificates from the New York Institute of Finance.

Also joining the Mall Boulevard branch are Dukes, Ferguson and Humphris, who will serve as client relationship representative, bank operations specialist and teller II, respectively.

Dukes has several years of customer service and sales experience. She previously served as a personal banker at a Savannah branch of a large national bank and received her technical certificate from Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.

Ferguson has experience in banking, business development and administration, having previously served as a financial service representative, personal banker, customer sales representative and lead teller for one of the largest national financial services companies. Ferguson received her bachelor’s degree from Saint Leo University.

Humphris’ customer service experience spans several decades and industries, including insurance, finance and real estate. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of New Jersey.
