Peachtree Center Welcomes Thrilling New Entertainment Concept Time to Escape

7/9/18

Peachtree Center, Downtown Atlanta’s iconic mixed-use development, announced today the addition of Time to Escape to The Hub’s growing portfolio of dining, retail and entertainment options. The adventurous new concept will include four themed escape rooms and plans to open by early Fall.

Time to Escape, located at the International Blvd entrance, across from Salata in The Hub’s three-story retail center, will offer Peachtree Center’s extensive roster of office tenants and nearby hotel guests a unique entertainment option. Time to Escape offers tailored experiences to businesses and corporate offices of all sizes looking to host exceptional team buildingevents. The escape room concept also hosts birthday parties, date nights and more for families and tourists looking for new, interactive options in the heart of thecity.

“Peachtree Center is a highly programmed destination with over 6,000 office workers and three convention hotels right next door, so we actively sought to bring in a new type of tenant that would continue to excite the 12 million people who visit The Hub annually,” said Amy Fingerhut, first vice president at CBRE, who represented Peachtree Center in leasing to Time to Escape. “We’re positioned in a strategic spot for any tourist, family or office looking to book a fun experience and are thrilled to add Time to Escape, the best escape room in Atlanta, to our roster.”

Dan Cleveland founded Time to Escape in 2016 when he opened his first location in Brookhaven. The goal for his escape room concept is to make players feel like they are walking into a different place and time period. Cleveland achieves his vision by adding unexpected components like music, animation and elements of interactive theatre with live actors.

“When thinking about the theme or the vision for the various escape rooms, I think about experiences that would interest me or my son,” Cleveland said. “Our escape room venue differs

from others in Atlanta by incorporating special effects and live actors that really create a one-of-a-kind experience for the players.”

The Peachtree Center location is Cleveland’s third location in the southeast and secondlocation in Atlanta.
