The 2009 Fall Atlanta Home Show Announces Exciting Roster of Exhibitors and Speakers Sept. 25-27, 2009
ATLANTA - For 26 years, the Fall Atlanta Home Show (www.AtlantaHomeShow.com) has brought together the premier product and service providers in the home design, construction and remodeling industries. It's a highly anticipated event where the latest and most innovative features, products and trends are showcased, and where homeowners can see new products demonstrated and meet the professionals who offer them. This year will be no exception. The 2009 Fall Atlanta Home Show will be held Friday-Sunday, Sept. 25-27 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.
The Atlanta Home Show's 2009 theme is "Make Your Home New Again" and the Show will feature exhibits from hundreds of local home improvement companies, along with seminars by well-known experts on a variety of home remodeling topics. It is a SEMCO production, and sponsors and promotional partners include Viking, Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation.
"The Atlanta Home Show elevates the Atlanta home improvement industry by providing homeowners with the most complete sources for home remodeling, décor, landscaping and building, all in one place. Attendees can comparative shop, speak in person to home improvement professionals, listen to experts discussing the latest trends, examine sample products and even contract for services while they are at the Show," said Show Director Michael Schoppenhorst of SEMCO Productions.
Schoppenhorst continued, "Now, more than ever, families are looking for new, affordable home improvement ideas, as well as ways to make their homes more energy efficient. Whether you are beautifying your home for sale, updating your current home to serve the needs of a changing family, or making accommodations for an aging family member, the Atlanta Home Show offers innovative advice and products."
Experts will be on hand to answer questions and demonstrate tools and techniques to accomplish numerous home improvement projects encompassing a home's interior, exterior and landscape. Exhibitors also will address such subjects as energy savings, landscaping, going "green" and more. There will be live demonstrations at the Viking Cooking Corner each day of the Show, as well as speakers offering programs on the latest kitchen and bath products, creating a more organized living space, giving your home a "physical exam", universal design/aging in place and other topics.
In addition, the Cobb County Fire Department will create and staff an interactive Fire Safety House, hosted by the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, to prepare adults and children for the cool months ahead when accidental fires often occur. A list of exhibitors, along with the daily speakers schedule can be found at www.AtlantaHomeShow.com.
Among the products making their debut at the Show will be the Pneumatic Vacuum Elevator, which has recently been approved by the State of Georgia for residential and commercial use. Genesis Elevator Company will bring one of these technological marvels to the Atlanta Home Show, so attendees can ride up and down in the environmentally-safe, air-driven elevator. This will be the first public demonstration of the new elevator in the state.
