ATLANTA (Oct. 5, 2009) - Piedmont Heart Institute is pleased to announce the addition of Steven R. Sigman, M.D., beginning Monday, October 5. Dr. Sigman will be practicing at both the Perimeter and Vinings offices located at 1140 Hammond Drive and 3020 Paces Mill Road respectively.
Dr. Sigman earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He subsequently completed medical residency and cardiology fellowships at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and Emory University. He also served as chief resident at Grady Memorial Hospital. Prior to joining Piedmont Heart Institute, he was assistant professor of medicine (cardiology) at Emory University and co-director of nuclear cardiology at Emory University Hospital Midtown. Dr. Sigman is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine.
Dr. Sigman practices general cardiology and specializes in cardiac imaging.

The Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians Perimeter office is located at 1140 Hammond Drive, Perimeter Town Center Office Park (northeast corner of Peachtree Dunwoody Road and Hammond Drive), Building K, Third floor.
