The Atlanta Bar Association Announces October 30 Celebrating Service Luncheon, Awards Ceremony and Pro Bono Fair
ATLANTA (October 7, 2009) - The Atlanta Bar Association announces its annual Celebrating Service Luncheon and Pro Bono Fair. The luncheon will honor the many Atlanta Bar members for their dedication to pro bono, public and community service work. A pro bono fair will precede the luncheon, where the representatives of at least 22 organizations will be available to talk about their programs and their need for volunteers. Georgia State Supreme Court Justice David E. Nahmias will be the guest speaker.
HOST: The Atlanta Bar Association, in association with the Gate City Bar Association, the Fulton County Daily Report and the Atlanta Bar Foundation.
EVENT: Celebrating Service Luncheon and Pro Bono Fair.
WHEN: Friday, October 30, 2009. Pro Bono Fair begins at 11:00 a.m., lunch at 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, 800 Spring Street NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30308.
WHAT: The Atlanta Bar Association will present its annual Pro Bono, Community Service, and Public Service Awards and the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation will present its annual Pro Bono Awards at the Celebrating Service Luncheon.
COST: Tickets are $40 for members and $50 for non-members. Reserved tables of 10 can be purchased for $500.
