Atlantic Station Brings The Pop Up Spot to the Heart of Midtown

6/25/19

Designated space will bring unique and dynamic artists, out-of-town brands and temporary tenants to Midtown

Atlantic Station announces today the addition of The Pop Up Spot, a 10,000-square-foot space available for bookings for a day, week or even months. The Pop Up Spot will create a unique and dynamic retail experience, allowing local artists, out-of-town brands and other exclusive tenants the opportunity to plant temporary roots in the heart of Midtown Atlanta.

“The property has more than 30 pop-up activations each year,” said Starr Cumming, director of specialty leasing at Atlantic Station. “Having a designated space for these distinctive activations will allow us to host a variety of diverse tenants for longer periods of time. We hope this spot will continue to bring our community together by offering our guests experiences they cannot find elsewhere.”

The space is located at 260 18th Street NW, Suite 10110, between LOFT and francesca’s. The addition of the space represents Atlantic Station’s overall strategy to offer diverse and memorable activations that appeal to the 20,000+ guests, workers and residents that spend time at the property each day.

“Pop-up retail has become more than just a trend,” said Nick Garzia, director of retail leasing at Hines. “We made the strategic decision to designate this highly sought-after space for temporary tenants because we understand our customers are looking for that distinct experience. The limited-time-only retailers that we’re hoping to attract will create excitement and urgency among our guests. Having this deliberate space is part of our transformational story of becoming a more modern, diverse and versatile mixed-use center.”

The Pop Up Spot is available for bookings now. Please contact Starr Cumming for information and more details at (470) 440-3399 orstarr.cumming@hines.com
